Frequently Asked Questions

We're glad you asked! A SpinTopSign is a modern take on real estate "For Sale" signage! A SpinTopSign sits either on top of the vertical post (cylinder) or on the horizontal arm (square) of a "For Sale" sign, and displays home images, information, and home buyer resources. A SpinTop holds 8 x 10 images of your choosing. An eye-catcher like no other, prospective buyers are enticed to come up for a closer look, spinning the sign to instantly see the most appealing aspects of your listing. Oh, and we forgot to mention, our SpinTopSigns have a solar-powered lid that enables them to light up from the interior at night, producing an elegant glow that won't disturb neighbors, but will greatly increase the number of hours that you're able to market your listing!

The SpinTopSign has been designed with harsh weather conditions in mind. It will withstand inclement weather, including rain, wind, snow and intense sunlight. Thick snow cover may reduce solar lighting capability.

No. Our SpinTopSigns have a solar panel lid which provides the energy needed to power the lights each night.

Due to the location of the SpinTop, riders cannot be placed above the horizontal arm post when using either the cylinder or square SpinTopSign. Typically, riders have holes on both the top and bottom to allow for placement beneath the horizontal arm post.

You probably have not enabled your light feature yet! Don't worry, it's simple to do. Remove the lid of your SpinTop, and unscrew the white post attached to the bottom of the light fixture. On the bottom of the light fixture, you'll find a button. Press it one time to enable. Please note that the light will only turn on if the solar panel is charged and the environment is dark enough to trigger the light mechanism. Refer to Step 3 of the Image Insertion instruction on our How It Works page.

Yes, you have the ability to disable the light feature. Simply unscrew the cylindrical tube from the base of the light to expose the button. Press the button once to disable the light feature, and press again to re-enable.

Your SpinTopSign holds 8" x 10" images, and we highly recommend photo paper.

No, SpinTopSigns rotate either via wind power or manually by prospective buyers. They are equipped with exterior "wings" to help catch the wind.

Although it is dependent on weather conditions and daily sun exposure, your SpinTopSign should remain lit for an average of three to five hours each night.

The posts that come with our cylinder SpinTopSign have a horizontal arm with signboard hanging holes that are separated by 16".

Both the cylinder and square SpinTopSigns have mechanisms for preventing theft! On the cylinder, there is a pin inside of the SpinTopSign topper, which prevents the topper from being lifted up and off of the bracket it sits on. There is also a pin that runs through the vertical post and SpinTopSign bracket. The end of this pin has a hole with a supplied cotter pin. For added security, you can replace this cotter pin with a small luggage lock such as the one found HERE.

On the square, there is a bracket that is affixed to the horizontal arm via hook and loop straps, which you can reinforce using zip ties.
